
John Sternfels
John Sternfels, LPC, NCC, CSAT, CCPS, C-SASI, CMAT, is the owner and clinical director of NorthPoint Professional Counseling. He received his master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Liberty University, Lynchburg Virgina. John has many years of combined experience working with Men, Women, Couples, and Families. John also facilities weekly recovery support groups for both men and women.

Patrick Eilers
Patrick Eilers, M.A., LPC, CSAT, earned his master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan. He has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Patrick specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of relationships while developing a foundation of acceptance, trust, and communication.

Akanksha Madan
Akanksha Madan, MA., LPC, NCC, CCPS-c, CSAT, received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from South University and is currently working on her EMDR and Multi-dimensional Partner Trauma (CCPS) certification. She has experience working with individuals and couples dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and abuse.

Barbara Seidel
Barbara Seidel, MA, LPC, CRC, CSAT-candidate received her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Madison in Wisconsin. Barbara’s advanced trainings include being a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist Candidate (CSAT-candidate) which utilizes Dr. Patrick Carnes 30 Task Model for sexual and porn recovery.

Megan Spees
Megan Spees, LLP, CSAT-candidate, CCPS-candidate, CAADC, CCTSI is a Limited License Psychologist who received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. Megan is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTSI).

Darlene Crow

Darlene oversees all of NorthPoint’s daily office operations. She will be the first person many clients talk to when scheduling their first appointment. Darlene will work with you to match you with the right counselor that best fits your specific need and will assist you through the intake process. Darlene takes pride in providing excellent client support and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Leah Lykins

Leah oversees all insurance and superbill matters. She also assists in scheduling initial and all on-going client appointments. Client satisfaction is one of her top priorities. You can always expect genuine and professional interactions with her. Leah takes pride in providing excellent client support and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Heidi Rokati
Heidi is acquiring her master’s degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids Michigan. Heidi’s completing her degree in Mental Health Clinical Counseling. Heidi is a certified life coach and has multiple years working with adolescents and adults.
